Some of the popular social platforms include Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, and Telegram so this post teaches you how to activate social plan on MTN, Glo, 9Mobile and Airtel networks.

The guidelines here will show you all the USSD code to dial when you want to subscribe for any social data plan on all networks in Nigeria. These social plans are cheap, easy to activate, keeps you connected on social media but won’t power most of your web browsers except opera mini for Android devices.

The social plans bears different names on different networks; for instance, on MTN, it’s called “social data bundles” with codes such as WAW, FBW, WAM etc. On airtel it comes as WTF while in 9Mobile, it’s known as smartpaks or socialpak.

To select directly from MTN menu dial *662# and select your data choice.

Airtel Social Data Bundle

  • WTF monthly 80MB 200 *990#

  • To check your data balance dial *140#

9mobile Social Data Bundle – Socialme

9mobile social bundle is one other Smartpaks plan that work on whatsapp, facebook, wechat, bbm and other instant message at the rate of N50 daily and N150 weekly.
To subscribe for this plan dial *200# follow the prompt and select to 3 to move to data menu and 3 again to get to smartpaks option.

Glo Social Media Plan

Unfortunately, there is no Glo social media plan officially introduced by Globacom for its subscribers but you can still enjoy “free Facebook” with your Glo line. Also don’t forget that as at the time of this publication, Glo still have the cheapest data bundles in the country.
