MTN Nigeria quietly added a more affordable package to its data plans, 1.5 GB for the N500. Just like MTN 2.5GB for N500 and 9GB for N2000, the new plan is also exclusive for MyMTN app users only via the Mega Deal Zone page.
You can actually get 1.5 GB data for N300 directly from MTN Nigeria. This is their way of making data plans more logical for Nigerians and one of the advantages of installing MyMtn app on your device.
How to activate MTN 1.5GB only for N300
As I said earlier, the plan is only accessible through the MyMTN app.
- Charge your MTN SIM with the N300's broadcast time.
- After installing the MyMTN app from the Google Play or iOS App Store, launch it.
- Look at the top of the app, and tap Mega Deal Zone
- Crack The Egg page will display for you, click on Bundle and you will get a message like "Get 1.5 GB of data with less than N300 only ..."
- Accept, your data will be activated with 1.5GB of data.
The shelf life of this plan is only 7 days. If you have data before activating this plan, the bonus in this plan will be exhausted before your initial regular data.
